A continuation of the storytelling journey born out of Linen Moves, Making Of stems from Gap’s commitment to standing for creativity. A look inside the creative process, from the individuals who make our campaigns possible.

For Gap Fall 24, Get Loose, we wanted to spotlight the craft and creativity that brought the campaign to life. Divided into a three-part documentary, the short films center on choreographer Sergio Reis, dance collective CDK Company, and pop sensation Troye Sivan. A team of combined talents who each represent what it means to be a true original.

Introducing the Making Of Get Loose. 

Part 1

The founder of CDK Company, Sergio Reis is the choreographer and director behind the bold moves of our fall campaign—and some of the most influential dance visuals in popular culture today. “These dancers have been with me since they were 12, 13, so it’s really cool to grow together and give them a platform,” said Reis. “I love sharing this with my people.”



Part 2

CDK Company started as a collective of dancers. They call themselves a family. “Being involved in this campaign is a true full circle moment. Troye, CDK and I have worked together for a year now, and it’s crazy to see our collaborative growth,” said CDK dancer Mauro van de Kerkhof.

Part 3

Troye Sivan has been a pop star for a decade. But his journey with dance began just a year ago, when he met Reis: “We just started to explore. I think dance is a very innate thing... but we can be self-conscious about it. And when you free yourself of that, there’s so much joy and expression—it’s a very special feeling.”
