Purpose
The Post Producer oversees all aspects of post-production, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality content across campaigns, social, digital, and broadcast platforms. Acting as the connective tissue between creative, production, and client services teams, the Post Producer manages schedules, budgets, workflows, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of post-production pipelines, including editorial, motion graphics, color, sound, and finishing.
Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Adept at vendor and freelancer management, including negotiating rates, booking, and scheduling.
Comfortable working directly with clients and internal stakeholders, balancing creative ambition with production realities.
Calm and solutions-oriented under pressure, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving.
Responsibilities
Post-Production Management
Lead day-to-day management of post-production workflows from edit through final delivery.
Build and maintain post production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Partner with Creative and Production teams to align execution with creative intent.
Supervise offline and online edits, color, audio, and VFX as needed.
Collaboration & Communication
Act as the central liaison between creatives, editors, producers, and clients during post.
Provide clear updates to stakeholders regarding timelines, deliverables, and potential risks.
Facilitate reviews and approvals, ensuring client and creative alignment at every stage.
Vendor Support
Help to source, book, and manage freelance editors, motion designers, and post vendors.
Negotiate rates and ensure vendor contracts are aligned with project budgets.
Process Efficiency
Collaborate across teams to streamline processes, align on project goals, timelines, and budgets, and ensure efficient delivery.
Conduct end-of-project evaluations, gathering feedback to refine processes and increase project efficiency.
Use data insights to assess project performance, optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement aligned with KPIs.
Identify opportunities to streamline post-production processes and adopt new tools or technologies.
Logistical Requirements
The Post Producer will be based out of our Los Angeles office, with a commitment to in-person collaboration. Monday – Thursday required in office, optional Work-from-home Fridays. For candidates based in New York or London, working structure will be defined. The salary range for this role is $120,000-$130,000 annually (based on location and experience) with medical, dental, vision, life insurance and unlimited PTO.
Travel within the US and internationally may be required based on client and company needs. As a full-time employee, the role may involve working extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client deadlines.
