Purpose

As a Senior Strategist, Brand at Invisible Dynamics, you will play a critical role in shaping brand transformation strategies for aspirational, culturally driven brands. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will help diagnose brand challenges, define future brand direction, and translate insight into compelling strategic narratives that inspire action.

This role sits at the intersection of data, insight, logic, and imagination. You will analyze complex inputs—data, research, stakeholder perspectives, and market context—to build clear, ownable points of view. You will be as comfortable interrogating insight as you are articulating a bold future vision for a brand, ensuring strategies are both rigorous and inspiring.

Essential Skills

You are a strategic thinker with experience working across business context, brand strategy, and cultural insight within a creative agency or consultancy environment. You are intellectually curious, analytically grounded, and creatively minded—able to balance structured thinking with big ideas.

You are:

  • Data-savvy, with experience working across multiple insight platforms and sources (both established and emerging, including AI-led tools)

  • Comfortable evaluating and synthesizing large volumes of information to form independent, defensible perspectives

  • Confident conducting stakeholder interviews and triangulating inputs into clear strategic conclusions

  • A strong communicator who can present thinking clearly, persuasively, and concisely—internally and with clients

  • Visually and structurally fluent, with experience building and refining strategic decks yourself (Figma proficiency required)

  • Excited by the role of proprietary tools in shaping future-facing brand strategy

You bring equal parts logic and imagination, and you care deeply about how strategy is expressed—not just what it says.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Development

  • Play a central role in developing brand transformation strategies, from early diagnosis through to future-facing brand vision.

  • Analyze cultural, consumer, competitive, and company inputs to assess the current state of a brand and identify opportunity areas, and to ground brand strategy in insight and logic.

  • Help define brand foundations, including vision, purpose, positioning, value proposition, tone of voice, personality, brand muse and cultural pillars.


Insight & Analysis

  • Capture, analyze, and interpret data and insights directly, partnering with Analysts where deeper analysis is required.

  • Work with multiple data sources and platforms to inform strategic thinking, while maintaining a platform-agnostic mindset.

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand organizational realities and triangulate perspectives into a coherent strategic view.

  • Apply structured, logical thinking to complex brand challenges, ensuring recommendations are grounded and defensible.


Brand North Star & Future Vision

  • Contribute to defining the Brand North Star—articulating how the brand strategy comes to life across identity, product, retail, commerce, and marketing.

  • Help translate strategic intent into inspiring narratives, visualizations, and future-state scenarios that guide execution.

  • Balance clarity and ambition, ensuring brand vision is both aspirational and actionable.


Storytelling & Presentation

  • Build and own high-quality strategic decks, ensuring ideas are communicated in a clear, lean, and compelling way.

  • Work confidently in Figma to structure, design, and refine strategic outputs.

  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to clients, articulating complex thinking with confidence and clarity.


Collaboration & Integration

  • Partner closely with the Strategy Director, Brand to shape strategic direction and ensure excellence across deliverables.

  • Collaborate with Creative teams to ensure brand strategy meaningfully informs creative expression and execution.

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Production, and Client Services to ensure alignment from strategy through delivery.

Logistical Requirements

The Senior Strategist, Brand will be based out of our Los Angeles office, leading the creative team with a commitment to in-person collaboration. Monday – Thursday required in the office, option Work-from-home Friday’s. The salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 annually (based on location and experience) with medical, dental, vision, life insurance and unlimited PTO.

Travel within the US and internationally may be required based on client and company needs. As a full-time employee, the role may involve working extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client deadlines.
