Introducing PALACE GAP
Produced by Invisible Productions. Directed by Will Robson-Scott.
Invisible Dynamics is proud to introduce PALACE GAP. A coming together of a cult London-based skate brand and an icon of American style, in homage to ‘90s skate culture and the skating icons of San Francisco’s Bay Area.
The campaign featured a multigenerational cast of skating and music greats—including Karl Watson, Elissa Steamer, Tommy Guerrero, nine-year-old Anna Shea, and Spice Girls legend Melanie C as “mum.”
Palace cofounder Lev Tanju told GQ: “Gap’s just iconic, and it’s such a big part of me growing up and a lot of the Palace family.”
ADWEEK stated that the “nostalgia”-heavy campaign “pays tribute to San Francisco, where Gap was founded”; while Hypebeast praised the merging of Gap’s “old-school heritage with Palace’s contemporary flair.”
Spanning both adults and kids pieces — marking Palace’s first venture into kidswear — the collaboration found favor with high-profile fans including Dua Lipa and Chloë Sevigny (in a matching look with her young son, Vanja), as reported by Vogue and W Magazine.
Invisible Productions is honored to have collaborated with Palace and Gap on this milestone in Gap's brand evolution, as the brand reclaims its standing at the center of the cultural zeitgeist.
